As a veteran of the Florida music scene, Robby G continues to evolve. With over a dozen successful original projects established, his passion for music and art is ever sustaining.
Being forced into piano lessons at age 6 created a love and passion for music, but not necessarily for piano. So, at age 10 he picked up his first guitar and the rest is history. Playing for over 35 years now, Robby has founded numerous original projects and has been the primary songwriter/musical director in all of them. Their genres have ranged from Rock & Metal to Soul/Funk/R&B to Jazz & Blues to Reggae & World to Chill Lounge/Ambient/Downtempo/Experimental.
There is too much equipment to list here, but Robby always comes back to his various Stratocasters, his old Fender amps and his analog effects and pedals. (See Photos).
Robby G performs solo as "RobbyG'z SoulShop"(A tranquilizing blend of Blues, Jazz, Chill Lounge and Reggae/World). He also performs in "Main Culprits", "The Castaways", "The Jimmy Rhodes & RobbyG Duo", "The Salty Dogs", and other duos/trios (Creating artsy and original interpretations of Classic Rock and Pop favorites).
